Women’s tennis closes SMU Fall Invitation with two wins


DALLAS- The University of Arkansas women’s tennis team ended the SMU Fall Invitational in singles against Wichita State.

Arkansas posted two singles wins over their Wichita State opponents in first and second place. Junior Lenka Stara claimed her second singles win of the weekend, defeating Wichita State’s Anzo 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 in a three-set showdown. Freshman Yuhan Liu also recorded her second singles win, defeating Kurahashi in straight sets 3-6 6-4 10-5.

The Razorbacks continue the fall season next week, traveling to Stillwater, Oklahoma for the ITA Regional Championships on October 13-17 at the Oklahoma State campus.
