Julius Hilde and Christian Stevens ran hard. The conditions were pretty rough at race time so I was very encouraged by how they went. We will adopt what we have learned today and develop and grow as a team. I would expect us to play our full varsity lineup in Notre Dame in two weeks. Today wasn’t a glamorous outing, but it was necessary for the development of some key members of our team. All in all, it was a solid day. “

Women’s head coach Lara Rogers also said: “We had some solid individual performances today. Leah Maschino had a very solid day as our top runner. And it’s nice to have Sam Mikula back and making big profits week after week. We didn’t play our full line-up, but we put everything together week after week. The group is working hard and I’m happy to see the entire squad together. Expect this weekend before the national team. “
