Thief Broke Into Restaurant, Stole Cash Register: Pasco Deputies

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County deputies said they are looking for a person who broke into a restaurant and took off with the cash register.

Video of the incident shows the suspect breaking glass to what looks like possibly the restaurant’s door in order to get inside.

Deputies said the incident happened Monday around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Congress St. and Orchid Lake Rd. in New Port Richey. They did not reveal the name of the restaurant.

It also wasn’t immediately clear how much money was possibly in the cash register at the time it was stolen.
