ORLANDO, Florida. – The 2021 USTFCCCA Convention starts today!

More than 1,300 cross-country and track and field trainers have registered for the USTFCCCA 2021 Convention, which will be launched today on Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida.

This is the second time in the last three years that the USTFCCCA Convention has been held in the Sunshine State.

Marquee events continue to be the focus of the USTFCCCA Convention.

On Wednesday, seven legendary coaches will join the USTFCCCA Trainer Hall of Fame: Peter Farrell (Princeton), Thomas “TE” Jones (Missouri / Wisconsin), Don Larson (North Dakota State), Dr. Nancy Meyer (Calvin), John Moon (Seton Hall), Dennis razor (LSU) and John Weaver (Appalachian State).

The Bowerman Presentation takes place two days later and then we find out the winners of the highest honor in athletics. The men’s finalists are JuVaughn Harrison, Cole stool and Turner Washingtonwhile the finalists are the women Tara Davis, Tyra Gittens and Athing Mu.

Both the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and the Bowerman presentation will be streamed LIVE on YouTube.

During the week, trainers can also attend 28 specialist symposiums and eight advanced training events presented by REKORTAN.

The Bowerman is not the only award given in Orlando. The winners of the USTFCCCA program for 2020-2021 will be honored as will the recipients of the George Dales Award and the Jimmy Carnes Distinguished Service Award, among others.
